As part of our ongoing Engaging Indigenous Learners initiative, we have released our 2019/2020 call for Expressions of Interest for ECALA Indigenous program funding. Based on the teachings from our initiative, our Indigenous Advisory Committee recommended that we adopt an Indigenous funding application process similar to Calgary Learns which requires a call for funding that is separate from our 2019/2020 Call for Proposals. Those interested in receiving ECALA funding for Indigenous programming have the option of submitting an oral or written Expression of Interest by January 18th, 2019. Organizations will then be invited to complete an Indigenous Funding Application if their Expression of Interest is successful. With the exception of the proposal process, all Indigenous funding applications must adhere to ECALA’s 2019/2020 Proposal & Funding Guidelines.
