Plain language, or clear print, focuses on writing for your audience. It lets you get your message across the first time. Using plain language principles results in effective and efficient communication. Complex text can cause misunderstanding, errors, and confusion.
In this session, we will be reviewing some of the concepts we talked about in our earlier session. We will look closer at the importance of readability, vocabulary and grammar. We will have some time to practice various strategies and tools. You don’t have to have attended the first session to walk away with new ideas.
