Session 2 ASL Read with Me

This course is a family literacy program primarily for Deaf adults.  Would you like to get better at reading with your kids?  Do you want to learn about how reading in ASL (American Sign Language) helps kids in learning to read?  Do you want more ideas to help your child learn ASL?  With the help of Deaf mentors/tutors we will teach the basics and help you meet your literacy goals.  By the end of the program, you will feel more confident using ASL skills at home and in the community, meet new friends, and help grow your child’s language skills.
