Come to Singalong! Read and sing the music of Canada! You will have an opportunity to read and sing the lyrics to many songs, improve your reading, your vocabulary and your understanding of Canadian culture. Singing helps with pronunciation. Chunking is an important part of reading and also in learning to speak another language. Music is naturally chunked into phrases and will really help you to apply this skill to your reading and speaking. We will sing old songs, new songs and even songs we write together.
