Math/Numeracy for Academic Goals
September 8, 2020 - June 30, 2021
The Math/Numeracy for Academic Goals course is a flexible instructor-led course focusing on the study of number systems, rational numbers, algebraic expressions and equations, problem-solving, geometry, measurement and pre-GED. This learning format is for students who are transitioning into post-secondary or an upgrading program in the future. The course fosters the development of collaborative skills as adult students learn to work with others in group activities. Basic computer skills and use are typically interwoven into the classes and learning opportunities are made available for those students needing additional instruction. The course will be offered in both French and English.
