In Part 2 of this series, participants will learn more about trauma and post-traumatic stress. You will:

  • gain an understanding of trauma and how it affects the nervous system, behaviour and perception
  • gain skills to work with people affected by trauma
  • obtain additional resources to use in your work

Karin Linschoten has been providing services for adults, youth and children from immigrant and refugee backgrounds since 2002. From 2012 – 2016 Karin was the representative for Canada on the International Council for the Rehabilitation of Torture Victims.
