Building on the ECALA 2019 Needs Assessment findings and the Outcomes-based Measurement and Evaluation for the Community Adult Learning Program Outcome and Measurement e-learning module, ECALA has contracted AndersonDraper Consulting to design and deliver a series of three “Creating a Culture of Evaluation Workshops”.

The first workshop in the series is scheduled for the morning of the Spring Community Conversation. In the first workshop of the evaluation series participants will

  • identify ways that foster a culture of evaluation within organizations
  • explore what evaluation looks like in learner-centred programming
  • describe how logic models and theories of change are used in program planning, monitoring, and evaluation
  • create a learner profile and share examples of how the profile can be used in needs assessments and other evaluation practices

Participants are asked to complete the Workshop Pre-survey by May 27.  The Pre-survey results will be used to inform the design of the workshop. The pre-survey will be emailed May 25.

Registration is also open for the remaining workshops in the series. Click here to register for the second workshop on June 19.

*Note that the workshops will be recorded and you will be asked to consent to the recording when you register for the workshops.
