DESCRIPTION:Date: Monday\, February 7\, 2022\nTime: 1:00 – 3:00 pm\nWhere: Online\nFacilitator: Nada Jerkovic \nReading instruction workshop for facilitators who work with beginning and emergent adult foundational learners: This workshop offers a practical and active approach to providing reading instruction to adult foundational learners who are beginning and/or emergent readers. By the end of the workshop\, you will be able to: \n\nidentify some of the difficulties that adult beginning and/or emergent readers encounter when learning to break the code and suggest reasons for these\nexperience some of the activities you can use with your learners\n\nThis workshop is intended for facilitators who work with learners who are native English speakers as well as English language learners \nIf you are not connected with one of ECALA’s funded agencies (staff\, volunteer or facilitator)\, there will be a $20 registration fee/person.
