DESCRIPTION:Do you want to learn more about your Indigenous culture and language?  Do you want to meet with Elders and Knowledge Keepers and learn Indigenous ways of knowing and learning?  Would you like to make a pair of moccasins for a new baby to help welcome the baby into the community?  Come join our learning circles to learn teachings about \n\nCommon cultural practices like prayers\, smudging etc.\nNehiyawewin language\nCultural resources for healing\nFamily relationships\nTraditional cultural crafting skills like beading and moccasin making\nImpacts of intergenerational trauma\nAnd more\n\nThis course is offered in partnership with Indigenous Birth of Alberta (Kihew awasis wakamik).
