DESCRIPTION:Date: Wednesdays\, starting on March 2\, 2022\, and ending on March 30\, 2022 \nTime: 10:00 – 11:00 AM \nWhere: Online \nFacilitators: Dorte Weber\, Rural Routes \nRural Routes is offering a five-hour\, five-week study group that gives an overview of the Canadian Language Benchmarks for the purposes of determining learner proficiency\, planning instruction\, and assessing learning. Hands-on practice and activities make this series a useful foundation for using the Benchmarks in your own practice. We recommend participants come to each session. \nThere are four topics and a review session in the study group: \n\nMarch 2\, Increase familiarity with CLBs\nMarch 9\, Using CLBs to plan instruction\nMarch 16\, Using CLB to plan assessment\nMarch 23\, Increase understanding of CLB proficiency levels\nMarch 30\,  Review and question time\n\nPlease note that Google Chrome is the preferred web browser to use when accessing the Rural Routes session via Blackboard. \nClick here to register. \n
