Introduction to Adult Foundational Learning (IAFL)
April 2 - April 3
Introduction to Adult Foundational Learning (IAFL) is a two-day training that helps practitioners understand adult foundational learning and discusses strategies and best practices for working effectively with adult foundational learners. Participants also have an opportunity to discuss the Community Adult Learning Program (CALP) system so as to better understand their role within the system. This training is a required training within the CALP system. As per a recent change to the CALP Guidelines, all ECALA funded organizations must have at least one person on staff who is trained in IAFL. If you do not have someone already trained on your staff team, please ensure that at least one person from your organization attends this training. Participants must attend both days to receive a certificate of completion. Prior to registering, please contact Wendy at email@example.com for important registration information.
