Do you have a passion for learning? Are you interested in making a difference with adult learners with unmet learning needs. The Edmonton Community Adult Learning Association (ECALA), a professionally staffed and accountable funder of non-profit, non-credit adult education, is recruiting volunteers for its Board of Directors.
Individuals must:
ü live OR work in Edmonton
ü possess knowledge, interest, understanding of board governance and adult learning principles including:
o challenges and barriers facing adult learners
o EAL/FAL (English as an Additional Language/French as an Additional Language)
o Employability enhancement
o Community issues
o Non-profit organizations
ü Provide a resume and two references and completed application form by noon, Monday January 24.
